Alexis Korner is born, the father of British blues
Alexis Korner was born in Paris; with Blues Incorporated he ran the club scene where the future Rolling Stones met. Jagger, Charlie Watts, Jack Bruce and half of British rock passed through his school. He was never a star and did not care: he was something rarer and more valuable, a founding teacher.

Mark Volman is born, from the Turtles to Flo & Eddie
Mark Volman was born in Los Angeles, a voice of the Turtles on the luminous "Happy Together" and later half of Flo & Eddie with Howard Kaylan. With Zappa they starred in the Mothers' most mischievous era and even sang backups on T. Rex's "Bang a Gong". Humor is an instrument too.
